The Barcode Slot Readers are designed to provide excellent scanning performance on a wide variety of barcode cards, badges, tags or printed forms. The reader is available in either an infrared or a visible red optical system. It contains an advanced optics and electronics system that provide a greatly improved first read data even on poorly printed barcodes. The optics and electronics are housed in a rugged ABS or metal case, which is fully sealed; making the readers can be used outdoors or in wet environment.

Its metal or plastic housing provides excellent protection for its optical system against performance degradation in harsh environments. Its scan height can easily be requested and adjusted. It is available in a TTL module where the light source can be obtainable upon OEM request. This high performance Barcode Slot Reader, can read from a 5mil resolution.
